The children came back to school from the half term break refreshed and eager to get back into their learning. I hope that all our families had a lovely break and were unaffected by the disruptive weather conditions. As always, it has been a busy week in school with children continuing to demonstrate their positive attitudes to all areas of the curriculum.
The PFA met on Tuesday evening to discuss plans for upcoming events – the next one being our first community Easter Egg Hunt! Planned for Sunday 29th March 10.30-1.30, we hope that families will come along to have some fun searching for some eggs and enjoying some light refreshments at the end! If any members of the school community are keen bakers, donations of homemade cakes would be gratefully received into school on Friday 27th March.
We have lots to look forward to in the coming week with our Year 2 children heading off on Monday for their trip to ThinkTank in Birmingham and World Book Day on Thursday. A reminder that children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or a Nursery Rhyme character. Please could children ensure they bring to school the book their character comes from. We look forward to celebrating our love of books and reading throughout the day.
Best wishes,
Mrs Ferretti
